A place of beauty, history, sun, wine and
food
In 1879, Monsieur Carles, vigneron of Roquebrun,
built an elegant classical stone "maison de maitre"
on the Avenue des Orangers close to the banks of
the majestic River Orb. The village is situated
about 30kms. N.W. of Beziers.
Monsieur Carles' gracious high-ceilinged house
continues today as Les Mimosas, a Chambre d'Hote at
the centre of one of the most beautiful medieval
villages in the South of France offering
traditional Languedoc hospitality and fresh French
country cuisine.
"Le Petit Nice"
The stunning village of Roquebrun has a gentle
micro climate of such balmy warmth that it is known
as "Le Petit Nice". It is sheltered by the purple
hills of the Haut Languedoc Regional Park to the
north and warmed by the south facing aspect of the
natural amphitheatre of village streets sloping
down to the River Orb. There is safe family
swimming in the river, with rock pools to discover
and opportunities for canoeing.
Les Mimosas, spacious hospitality at the
heart of Languedoc
The well-established Chambre d'Hote at Les
Mimosas offers you:
